Lando Norris finished second in the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix after admitting that Max Verstappen’s Red Bull was too fast at Imola. McLaren has won five of the last six races, but had to settle for second place this time. Despite a late charge, Norris couldn’t catch Verstappen. Norris acknowledged that even if he had qualified higher, Verstappen’s pace would have still been too much. Next up is the Monaco Grand Prix where Norris will look to close the gap on his teammate, Piastri.
